2007 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

Officially out of production but still available on Chevy dealer lots through the remainder of 2007, the Monte Carlo is ranked among the top three midsize sporty cars for quality, design and performance. Sharing its platform and powertrains with the more popular Chevy Impala, the Monte Carlo is available in LS, LT and SS trim levels with two different V-6 engines (LT and LTZ) and a 303-hp V8 (SS). Owners cite powertrain quality as a particularly pleasing Monte Carlo attribute.

Chevrolet Suburban

Redesigned for 2007, the Chevrolet Suburban is the only large multi-activity vehicle (MAV)"also known as an SUV"that ranked among the top three in its segment for both quality and for performance and design. With three rows of seats capable of seating up to 8 passengers, plus enough luggage capacity behind the third-row seat to fill the trunks of two New York City taxicabs, the Suburban is adept at hauling people and cargo. It can also tow up to 9,700 pounds when properly equipped, and comes in half- and three-quarter-ton versions.
